About Us
What is Freedom House?
Freedom House is a ministry of New Life Ministries is ,a 501(c)3 non-profit PO Box 11, Morrisdale, PA 16858 The Church has been given the mission to go to the nations “to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in [Christ]” (Acts 26:18; Matthew 28:18-20). The Church exists primarily to disciple its members and so help them grow in faith, hope, and love. This is the path to maturity. We put our faith in all that God has revealed in His Holy Scriptures. We put our hope in the eternal salvation that awaits as a guaranteed inheritance for those who believe (Ephesians 1:14). We walk in the Spirit and so grow in our love for one another (John 13:34-35) and for our enemies (Matthew 5:44; Luke 6:27-35). We grow in maturity as we live in unity with one another (Ephesians 4:13; Colossians 1:28).
Freedom House has two primary ministry opportunities housed under one roof.
- Freedom House Church. Our church is a nondenominational house of worship that meets Saturday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:00PM. Click on the link to learn more.
- Freedom House Women's Residential Program . Our women's residential program houses women leaving incarceration and rejoining their communities.
Our Mission
To Teach the Biblical truths of your identity, position and authority in Christ. How to love God and love others. To experience the true love of Christ. Freedom House through Jesus Christ reestablishes community.
Our Vision
The vision for our ministry is to be a light in a very dark place. Through Jesus Christ this ministry will bring order to the chaos and confusion Reclaiming what the enemy has put his stamp on and declared will always belong to him. It does not belong to him. A call that goes back and a call that goes forward and restores generations and makes the way for another generation to come. Inviting Jesus to stir up new hope and bring healing and restoration to all who enter. Reminding those who've forgotten that the Lord lives and He still dwells in this place and in your hearts.
